Parking on campus can be challenging, especially on weekdays. We encourage you to consider using public transportation options to attend Drupal Camp.
Getting to Palo Alto
If you are traveling from San Francisco, the peninsula or San Jose, Caltrain is your most convenient option. A one-way trip from San Francisco takes approximately one hour and costs about $5.75; a one-way trip from San Jose takes approximately 40 minutes and costs about $4.00.
You can also connect to the Caltrain from the East Bay via BART lines at the Millbrae Station.
From Palo Alto to the Stanford Science and Engineering Quad (SEQ)
The local transit hub for bus and train services at Stanford is the Palo Alto Caltrain Station, located near the main entrance to campus near the intersections of Palm Drive, University Avenue, and El Camino Real.
Marguerite Shuttle
The Stanford Marguerite Shuttle, the University’s free shuttle bus, operates several routes from the Caltrain station to campus locations.
Line X and Line Y stop at the SEQ on weekdays.
Line N, Line O, and the Shopping Express Line stop very near SEQ on weekends.
A set of basic directions to Stanford for travelers using public transportation is available on the Stanford Bay Area Transit website.
