This session will explore different document formats and their level of accessibility. The general steps needed to create a proactive workflow will be profiled. Additionally, a document decision tree will be shown that participants can use to identify what documents should be remediated, reworked as web content, or deleted. 

The second part of the session will profile AI accessibility workflows such as generating alternative text for complex images and descriptive hyperlinks. An example involving a complex image will be demoed. The session will emphasize that a person should always check and edit AI-generated content. 

 

By the end of the session, participants will:

  •                Understand the differences in accessibility between different document formats                 
  •               Be able to create a document remediation plan for their website                 
  •               Use AI to create alt text for images and descriptive hyperlinks                
  •               Identify the steps needed to use AI to create a description of a complex image
